6th annual Drive to Make a Difference Charity Golf Outing
We’re happy to share that the 6th annual Drive to Make a Difference charity golf outing that was held at the Links of Novi on Saturday August 12th was another tremendous success. The event included a packed field of 136 golfers and was again supported by numerous sponsors, donors, participants, and volunteers from throughout the community.
We are excited to report that approximately $30,000 was raised to support the Drive to Make a Difference mission of providing emotional and economic support to pediatric oncology patients and their families living in our community. This would not have been possible without the participation, support, and efforts of so many. For this we will be forever grateful.
Along with the entire field of golfers, we were honored to share the day with two very special families and this year’s recipients of the Bob Kunkel and Barbara Chawla Legacy awards for outstanding community service and philanthropic efforts. Third Annual Rally in the Alley Fundraising Event
The Third Annual Rally in the Alley fundraising event this past Saturday was a huge success. The afternoon included bowling, pizza, a silent auction and more. There was an outstanding turnout. A total of 135 bowlers hit the alley, with countless others enjoying the event from the sidelines. Approximately $4,000 was raised. 100% of the funds raised will provide emotional and economic support to pediatric oncology patients and their families living in our community.
